“Thinking Theologically” gives you vital insights into the discipline of theology and related fields. In this unit we seek to equip practitioners to reflect critically on how theology is done and how we can apply theological approaches competently in our own, various ministry contexts today. We explore fascinating questions, such as, What is the status of Scripture and revelation for theology and the church today? What is the relationship between biblical theology and systematic theology? What role do creeds and confessions play in theological history and the contemporary? What is theology’s relation to other disciplines? What is the role of the theologian today? In “Thinking Theologically”, we seek answers to these questions together, and in doing so we expect to get a fresh perspective on contemporary Christian life and ministry practice.
