Unit Code: LA006-612
Pre or Co-requisites: Yes
New Testament Greek is a crucial basis for building a correct interpretation and informed understanding of the New Testament text.
This is a rigorous subject that introduces you to the grammar of Koine Greek and builds a vocabulary range that enables competent translation to be undertaken in future study.
This is the second half of the MST Greek program. By the end of this unit, you will have gained a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of the Koine Greek of the NT. You will be able to apply your grammatical knowledge of Koine Greek to the New Testament and discuss issues that influence the meaning and translation of the text.
Your hard work in learning paradigms and vocabulary will pay off as you translate four chapters of the New Testament and by the end of the year, you will be in a position to commence exegesis of the Greek text of the New Testament.
