Pre or Co-requisites: None
We are living in a time of unprecedented movement of people (individuals, families and even communities) and this has major implications for Christian mission, churches and organizations. This course is interdisciplinary and seeks to equip you with theological and contextual tools to understand the reality of migration in our world today and to reflect on the practical/missional implications for your ministry and leadership. Students will receive an orientation to the key concepts and themes and theories of migration and diaspora, critically engage with biblical and theological perspectives and relate these to how global migration brings new challenges and opportunities for mission in the world today.
