Unit Code: LA007-812
Pre or Co-requisites: None
This unit builds on the introductory Greek units LA005 and LA006. The aim of the unit is to increase your translation proficiency, expand your vocabulary range, and equip you with the skills to make exegetical decisions on the basis of Greek grammar and syntax. The unit content consists of three broad areas: i) translation from the NT, LXX and non-biblical Christian literature, ii) classification of noun cases, verb tenses, participles, the article and the imperative mood, iii) learning all Greek words that occur 10 times or more in the NT.
The unit runs on-line and is structured in a way for you to work through the material by yourself. Instructional videos are provided in each lesson, enabling you to self-correct your work. There will also be a weekly tutorial of one hour with the lecturer concerned.
Unit availabilities are subject to change. Please contact the enrolments team at enrolments@mst.edu.au for further information.
