The Diploma of Theology is a program of undergraduate study that provides education in biblical, historical, theological, and missiological related disciplines. This award introduces students to the Christian story and message and provides training that emphasises the application and practice of this story and message in the contemporary world, laying a great pathway towards the Bachelor of Theology.
The Diploma of Theology requires the satisfactory completion of 8 units totalling 96 credit points. Full-time students normally take a study load of 3-4 units per semester, and part-time students 1-2 units per semester.
Biblical and Theological Foundation
Complete two Old Testament or New Testament foundation units:
Complete one Christian Thought unit, from Christianity in History (CH), Theology (TH), or Philosophy and Ethics (PE).
Primary Course Discipline (Theology Stream)
Complete three units within Primary Course Discipline fields:
Electives
Complete three further units of your choice:
