The Advanced Diploma in Ministry introduces you to the sources and content of the Christian story and message and provides training which emphasises the application and practice of this story and message in the contemporary world.
This course integrates studies in the Bible and Christian tradition with practical experience and includes supervised practice-based learning where appropriate.
Through your own choice of elective units, you can develop particular ministry skills in the three fields of Ministry & Practice and deepen your understanding of the Bible and Christian thought & history.
The Advanced Diploma of Ministry requires the satisfactory completion of 12 units totalling 144 credit points. Full-time students normally take a study load of 3-4 units per semester, and part-time students 1-2 units per semester.
Biblical and Theological Foundation
Complete two Biblical Foundation units:
Complete two Christian Thought units from Christianity in History (CH), Theology (TH), or Philosophy and Ethics (PE).
+ One of:
Principles and Practice of Biblical Exegesis BB013
OR
Methods of Bible Study and Teaching BB014
Primary Course Discipline (Ministry Stream)
Complete four units in primary course discipline, which includes:

Complete a further four units of your choice.
